Life Ledger is an educational and self-help tool intended to support people who want to reduce or stop gambling. It offers reflection exercises, calculators, planning tools, and informational content.
Life Ledger is not medical, psychological, clinical, financial, or legal advice, and it is not a substitute for professional diagnosis, treatment, counseling, or care. We are not a healthcare provider, therapist, financial advisor, or crisis service. Please consult a qualified professional for advice specific to your situation.
The app is not designed for emergencies and does not connect you to emergency responders. If you are in crisis or thinking about harming yourself, call or text the National Problem Gambling Helpline at 1-800-522-4700 (24/7), call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline), or dial 911 (or your local emergency number).
Recovery is personal and varies from person to person. We do not promise or guarantee any particular outcome, including that you will reduce or stop gambling or achieve any financial or personal result. The information and tools in the app are provided for general educational purposes.
The app addresses gambling, an activity restricted to adults. You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live) to use the app.

The app — including its name, logo, design, text, and other content (except content you create) — is owned by Life Ledger and protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive, revocable license to use the app for its intended purpose. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
The app may link to or reference outside organizations and resources (such as support groups, helplines, and financial institutions) for your convenience. We do not control these third parties, do not endorse them, and are not responsible for their content, services, or practices. Any interaction with them is between you and that third party.
Your download and use of the app is also subject to the terms of the platform you obtained it from (such as the Apple App Store or Google Play). Where those terms conflict with these Terms on store-related matters, the platform’s terms control for those matters.
The app is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that any content is accurate or complete. You use the app at your own risk.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Life Ledger and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising out of or relating to your use of (or inability to use) the app — even if advised of the possibility of such damages. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the app will not exceed the amount you paid us for the app (which, for a free app, is zero dollars).
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Life Ledger from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of your misuse of the app or violation of these Terms.
We may update, change, suspend, or discontinue the app or any part of it at any time. We may also update these Terms from time to time; if we make material changes, we will update the effective date above and post the revised Terms. Your continued use of the app after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
You may stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or end your access to the app if you violate these Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Alabama, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, except where preempted by federal law. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Alabama, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
